Indre Altman

Indre Altman is an Associate on the S2G Special Opportunities team, where she helps companies scale with creative financing solutions. She is involved in developing opportunities across clean energy, food, agriculture, and oceans. Previously Indre worked in investment banking at Lazard in Houston, where she learned about the challenges oil & gas companies faced during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as about opportunities for the energy transition. Before that, Indre worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied the geology of submarine channels using Python and mapping software. Indre received a MS from the University of Texas at Austin and her Bachelors at Bowdoin College, where she double-majored in Earth & Oceanographic Science and Government & Legal Studies.
