Indre Altman

Associate, Special Opportunities

Indre Altman is an Associate on S2G Ventures' Special Opportunities strategy, where she helps companies scale with creative financing solutions. She is involved in developing opportunities across clean energy, food, agriculture, and oceans.

Previously, Indre worked at Lazard as an Investment Banking Analyst in Houston. While working on mergers & acquisitions and advising clients, she learned about the challenges oil & gas companies faced during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as about opportunities for the energy transition. Before that, Indre worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied the geology of submarine channels using Python and mapping software.

Indre received a M.S. from the University of Texas at Austin and her Bachelors at Bowdoin College, where she double-majored in Earth & Oceanographic Science and Government & Legal Studies.

Born and raised in Texas, Indre enjoys kayaking in Austin on weekends, cooking, playing board games, and learning about different cultures across the globe.
