Our Community

Building a better food system isn’t easy.  And we know we can’t do it alone.  That’s why we try to bring together diverse partners and perspectives as part of a greater community.  Only together can we effect real change.  We hope you will join us.

The S2G Summit brings together over 300 leaders from across the food and agriculture industry to learn, network and discuss ways to move the food system towards a more sustainable and healthy future. The S2G Summit is an intimate, invite-only and diverse convening of participants spanning industry executives, innovators, and leaders uniquely coming together to propel innovation and advancement across [and beyond] the food system.

S2G dedicates significant time and resources to developing and maintaining relationships with companies across the food and agriculture value chain. We believe industry engagement helps increase access to capital industry wide and enables scale, which ultimately drives meaningful impact and ROI for our portfolio companies and the food system.

American Connection Project

At S2G, we believe that an investment in broadband internet connectivity is an investment in our future and prosperity. We joined the American Connection Project championed by Land O’Lakes and supported by numerous companies and organizations.  And we have shared our perspectives on the critical importance of rural connectivity with Congressional leadership.

S2G maintains a network of syndicate partners with which it has invested in 50 portfolio companies and added over $1.8 Billion of investment into the system. Approximately 40% of our co-investors are corporate entities which provide strategic value to portfolio companies beyond capital through their access to channels, scale and expertise in the food supply chain.
