Over the last eight years we have had the privilege to work with some amazing people. In the spirit of supporting our entrepreneurs we have had to first develop and support our own team.
For us, it always starts with culture. From day 1 we have worked hard to build S2G Ventures, and now Builders Private Capital, into an organization that works hard but doesn’t take ourselves too seriously. We want to have a team that brings great ideas, a passion for impact, a can-do attitude and humility to their work.
As we move into 2022, we were thrilled to recognize several of our team members through promotions. I cannot express strongly enough how well deserved each of these promotions are. These team members are helping us build an investment firm that partners with entrepreneurs that are on the forefront of change. Thank you for your contribution and passion for our organization and its impact.
Cristina Rohr from Principal to Managing Director - Cristina has been a tremendous leader in helping us build a strong digital agriculture portfolio. Cristina has also helped us in building and scaling our full investment team, including our Associate and Analyst program.
Tonya Bakritzes from SVP, Marketing to Managing Director - Tonya joined us at the start of the pandemic and has transformed our marketing and communications efforts where we are now putting out thought leadership on a regular basis. She has pushed our firm to be more vocal in telling the stories of our entrepreneurs, and the amazing and hard work they are doing to shift industries to healthier and more sustainable outcomes.
Audre Kapacinskas from Vice President to Principal - Audre joined us four years ago and has led our efforts in establishing strong relationships with corporates, but also in having a data-centric culture at our own organization. Audre’s entrepreneurial spirit has been contagious and has made us a stronger partner with our entrepreneurs and their customers.
Dan Ripma from Senior Associate to Vice President - Dan joined us initially as an Associate and has continued to be a great team member. Dan supports our portfolio companies in the agriculture, fintech and food as health categories and has been an active publisher of research and perspectives on policy, how pandemics shape cycles of innovation and the state of capital markets.
