Dr. Jasmin Hume is the founder and CEO of Shiru, developing next-generation protein ingredients via machine learning and precision biology to fuel the future of healthy and sustainable food. Prior to founding Shiru Jasmin was the Director of Food Chemistry at JUST (fka Hampton Creek). Jasmin holds a doctorate in protein engineering from NYU, an MSc from Chalmers University, and a BEng from McGill University.
